I had the opportunity to be hosted by Farah. We met back in Taiwan last July 2023 and made such a good connection afterwards. When I came back to Malaysia for the 3rd time on January 20, 2024, she let me stay at their home and was welcomed by her amazing parents as well. It was my first time staying with locals, and the 1 week stay with them has been a memorable experience for me. I learned so much about their culture and the country as well. I am also privileged to collaborate with her on her website, podcast, and other social media since that is my expertise. I am very blessed to have this kind of opportunity and to be welcomed in Malaysia anytime. Terima Kasih.

It was a Ger-style (Mongolian ger) guesthouse in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. I greeted a woman wearing a hijab and a grey and black outfit. “My name is Farah, and I’m traveling by bike.” Wow! A Muslim woman is traveling by bike from Mongolia to Russia. Then, you broke my prejudice against Muslim women. We traveled together during Ramadan without food in Mongolia. On your next trip, you will complete a long journey from East Asia to Central Asia and West Asia. You are such a strong person. I’m so glad to collaborate with you on your digital nomad work. Actually, I’m worried that I might not be of much help. See you again in Kuala Lumpur. I miss your mother’s food too. I wish you all the best in your life as a nomad traveler.
